Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Bllu app and platform.
1. The service
Bllu is a business-to-business marketplace that connects contractors who need hired equipment with suppliers who provide it. Bllu facilitates dispatch, tracking, pricing, documentation, and payment. Bllu is not itself the provider of the equipment or labour.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. There are three account types — Operator (supplier dispatcher), Contractor, and Driver — and you are responsible for activity under your account. Operators and Drivers must complete verification before becoming eligible for dispatch.
3. Bookings, pricing & cancellation
- Prices are computed by Bllu and shown before you confirm; the price is locked at booking.
- Cancellation after a truck has been committed may incur a cancellation fee, disclosed in-app. Safety-related work stoppages under a driver's right to refuse unsafe work do not incur fees.
- Suppliers are paid for completed work per the platform's payout terms, including any statutory holdbacks required under the BC Builders Lien Act.
4. Conduct & compliance
No unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive use. Suppliers and drivers must hold the required licensing, inspections, and insurance, and keep them current — eligibility for dispatch depends on it. Attempting to move Bllu-originated business off-platform, or to circumvent the marketplace's anonymity protections, may result in suspension. Bllu may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or platform safety rules.
5. Payments & taxes
Charges are billed to your account on the payment terms shown in-app (for example, itemized Net-30 statements); where card payments are offered they are processed by our third-party payment provider. You authorize the charges shown at confirmation. Bllu collects and remits GST as merchant of record and issues itemized receipts and statements.
6. Documentation
Job records — including completion photos, load tickets, and receipts — are retained as the documentary record of the work and shared with the parties to the job.
7. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, Bllu's liability is limited. Insurance and on-site responsibilities are governed by the applicable supplier agreements and certificates of insurance.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time (Account → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use means acceptance of the updated Terms. We will post updates on this page.
